About

Rider captures attention with every syllable. His confident, cool, and effortlessly smooth vocal tone sounds modern, self-assured, and stylish without trying too hard: a voice with natural rhythm and subtle swagger.

His two-decade body of work includes narrating hundreds of episodes of television for networks like Fox, CBS, National Geographic, Animal Planet and Discovery Channel, including a dozen Shark Week appearances, 112 episodes of “Lone Star Law” and 94 of “Maine Cabin Masters.”

In the movie trailer world he voiced campaigns for three #1 box office hits: “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Uncharted” and “Bullet Train,” starring Brad Pitt. His trailer work for “Uncharted” won a 2022 Golden Trailer Award, and more recent campaigns include “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” “Caught Stealing,” “Fight or Flight” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

In the promo world Rider has voiced thousands of promos for CBS, Paramount Network, the CW and NBC, and he is the syndicated promo voice of “Chicago P.D.” He has been the brand voice for the PBR, Bellator MMA, the Texas Rangers and the San Diego Chargers, and spent multiple seasons on camera for CBS Sports Network's “NFL Monday QB.”

With thousands of national commercial campaigns behind him, including Ford, Little Caesars, Verizon, Moe's, Aspercreme, Matchbox, Dick's Sporting Goods and three for Budweiser, Rider is an in-demand commercial voice. In radio he is “The Voice” of KROQ Los Angeles and the imaging voice of stations across the country. In 2023 the One Voice Awards named him Male Voiceover Artist of the Year.

His studio is top notch, offering Source-Connect, ISDN, Zoom, Cleanfeed and phone patch, with a Neumann U67 and Avalon 737 at the heart of the chain.

The Rider Family Ranch is in Switzerland, Florida. He is a husband and father of two boys, an aficionado of horses, BBQ and the martial arts (a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo), and the ranch keeps five goats, three horses, five Australian Shepherds and one bird busy from dawn to dusk.
